I'm super excited when BTS announce their new upcoming album will be launched on 18th this September! Setelah sukses berkali-kali di album sebelumnya, seperti biasa gue expect too much sama Bangtan. I mean, gue berani berekspektasi lebih karena BTS ini merupakan salah satu musisi Korea yang nggak cuma terima sama konsep dan materi untuk album mereka dari agensinya, tapi juga banyak ikut berkontribusi. Bukan ARMY namanya kalau nggak bisa jadi intel buat BTS. Ingat nggak waktu BTS lagi tour di Amerika dan berkunjung kesana buat hadir di acara Billboard, sempat tersebar beberapa fancam dan poto BTS yang lagi di Hawai? Nah, kan para Army ini sudah mulai menduga-duga apa yang sedang dilakukan BTS. Apakah mereka lagi syuting Music Video? Reality show baru? Sekedar holiday? atau BTS bon voyage 2? American Hustle life 2? BTS Go 2?
Dan akhirnya terjawablah bahwa Bighit membuat BTS Bon Voyage season 2 in Hawai!!!
Tidak tanpa alasan Bighit memilih Hawai. Dulu, kira-kira setahun yang lalu pihak Bighit pernah tanya ke member harapan mereka. Rata-rata pada jawab mereka pengen banget ke Hawai. Bighit yang baik hati mengabulkan harapan BTS.
Berbeda dengan Bon Voyage season 1 dengan tema travel on your own yang demi apa kacau abis mulai dari koper ketinggalan di bis, karcis ilang, kekurangan duit, sampai paspor ilang, di season 2 ini tim big hit punya misi membangun kembali persahabatan antar member BTS.
Selama di Hawai, mereka dibagi jadi 3 grup 2-2-3 yang ditentukan lewat game dan berubah-ubah. Pembagian grupnya sendiri juga diatur sama Tim Kreatif. Karena ini masih episode 1, jadi belum kebagi. Masih misterius gitu.
Jujur aja gue masih belum bisa move on dari bon voyage 1. Ngelihat member yang dilepas bebas tanpa manager, travelling bawa-bawa backpack seperlunya, No make up, suasana kotanya klasik, banyak tragedi dan hal konyol yang ngebuat gue ngebet pengen banget backpackeran ke Finland, Swedia, and Norwei.
Menurut gue, Hawai itu mirip-mirip Indonesia terutama Bali. Negara tropis kan ya. Jadi banyak laut, pohon kelapa, cicak, pohon pisang yang bahkan ditanam di taman-taman. Jadi nonton Bon Voyage season 2 itu ya serasa lihat BTS syuting di Bali.
Apalagi tujuan bon voyage kali ini lebih ke senang-senang. Orang dibilang sama tim kreatif mereka itu intinya eat and have fun. Mereka capek cyiin abis tur Amerika jadi butuh refreshing lah. Sekalian ngumpulin duit dibikinlah acara Bon Voyage season 2 kali 😜
Balik ke Bon Voyage season 2, ngomong-omong ini acara berbayar ya gais. Di V+ apa ya. Gue bersyukur banget ada yang share link di Youtube. Jadi sebelum dibanned sama bighit, sok atuh cuss ditonton.
To make it simple, ini gue bikin fakta-fakta cerita BTS Bon Voyage season 2 episode 1 di Hawai.
1. Pas tau mereka ke Hawai, BTS kegirangan banget. Namanya anak BTS yaang suka ribet, walau udah dikasih daftar perjalanan dan kegiatan tetep aja banyak maunya. Misalnya:
> Suga mau istirahat santai sambil menikmati pemandangan. (Asli disini kalian bakal lihat seberapa cocoknya Suga dengan cita-citanya untuk jadi batu)
> Jungkook mau renang
> Jin pengen lari lari di pantai
> Ada yang mau ngasih makan ikan (Ini konyol)
> Si V pengen pool party
> Si J hope pengen nyobain minum kelapa ala-ala film hawai
Tim Big hit yang memang dasarnya baik banget ini mencoba mempertimbangkan pendapat member BTS.
2. Di hari pertama, mereka seperti biasa pergi belanja. Lucunya, waktu semua member bergaya kasual, sporty dan kehawai-hawaian, si Mphi V malah bergaya macam eksekutif muda. Endorse Gucci tetep jalan ya bang 😂
3. Mereka ceritanya dapat jatah uang. Waktu ditanya mau dijatah berapa, V ngasih saran 50.000 Won perorang. Tapi Suga bilang kebanyakan. V nyaut itu untuk satu hari. Ada lagi yang nyeletuk 60 - 70. Eh, kata tim bighit jumlah tersebut ternyata lebih sedikit dari ekspektasi.
4. Seperti biasa, yang jadi bagian keuangan BTS adalah min Suga aka Min Yongi aka Agust D. Hari pertama mereka dapat $100/orang. Banyak bener yaa.
5. Pas belanja, mereka sibuk milih baju sama fashion ala hawai gitu. J-Hope nemu baju yang feelsnya mirip banget dengan kemeja dia di mv Fire. Jimin juga ngerasa gitu. Jimin malah ngebayol dengan bilang dia menemukan flip flop yang cocok buat dia. Flip flop with high heels. Yakali dek, mentang-mentang tingginya imut. V milih celana pendek tapi kebesaran. Jimin ketawa dan bilang 'kita berdua bisa masuk dicelana ini'.
6. Di toko itu member BTS kesusahan nyari Salesnya. Padahal mereka nggak tau fashion hawai yang bagus dan sesuai itu gimana. Mereka mau nanya-nanya tapi nggak tau.
7. Di episode ini, keliatan banget deh BTS banyak endorsenya. Pertama endorse PUMA. Lokasi hotelnya, toko belanjanya, selain itu maskapai Hawaiian dan hawainya aka big island sendiri juga kayaknya di endorse gitu. Mayan kan bisa naikin jumlah pelancong kesana.
8. Waktu milih baju, V ngerekomendasiin Jin kemeja biru dengan motif bunga sepatu. Asli deh, si Jin yang memang sense of flower boy nya tinggi langsung kegirangan. Baju yang lagi dia coba langsung dicopot seketika.
9. Jungkook itu jiwanya memang masih dedek banget ya. Ketika sudah puas dengan pilih-pilih baju, dia langsung ngubek-ngubek bagian chips. Nah kan matematikanya Jungkook agak jongkok juga sih ya 😰🙈 tapi dia coba kalkulasikan berapa chips yang bisa dia beli dengan harga segitu. Dia beli tiga packs. Pas bayar di kasir, mbak nya nanya: 'Kalian band?' 'Ya Korean Singer' 'Korean Singer? Apa namanya? 'BTS' (Ciyee, International recognition nya nambah)
10. V paling nggak tahan panas. Waktu mereka jalan keluar aja V langsung ngadem keliatan lemes banget. Apalagi ni anak agak trauma gitu kalau jadi item. Karena dulu banyak yang komen kalau V itu item dan V jadi minder. Rasis bener dah orang korea.
11. V sama Jimin sibuk liat lukisan. V sepertinya minat di seni lukis dan gambar ya. BTW di episode ini Jimin sama V nempel mulu kayak lem.
12. V, Jin, J Hope, Jimin, Jungkook sok-sok buat MV lagu Where are You Now nya JB. Trus mereka lanjut bikin MV lain-lain. Mereka sampai nyari Suga buat bikin MV So Far Away. Tapi bang Suga lagi pengen males-malesan jadi dia cuek aja waktu lagu dia diputar. Dia kayak patung ampe member lain nyerah karena capek. Ngeselin emang 😔. Terus next target si Rapmon. Eh, tiba-tiba keputar lagunya Tae. Jadi yang bergaya malah si Tae Tae. Next ada Jin. Trus mereka juga sok-sok buat MV lagu Born Singer. Trus pas mereka liat Rapmon, mereka juga langsung ngejar dan nyetel lagunya Rapmon.
13. Di Episode awal ini kata 'Aloha' banyak banget diucapin sama member. Tiap ketemu orang, Aloha! Masuk toko, Aloha! Naik pesawat, Aloha! Turun pesawat, Aloha! Nggak heran judulnya jadi 'Aloha, Hawai!'
14. Ingat nggak di season 1 sempet hits ucapan J-Hope yang 'Important Business' setiap kali ada yang minta foto bareng sama dia dan ngefek banget buat ngehalau fans. Eh, di season 2 ini si J-Hope nyari kesempatan buat ngomong important business lagi. Plis deh bang 😔.
Sekarang jaman dimana acara awards macam soompi, gaon, GDA, MAMA, dan sebagainya memasukkan hasil voting online sebagai bagian dari penilaian. Ada plus minusnya sih. Plus nya ini bagus buat grup yang punya fandom besar dan rela keluarin dana untuk ngevote. Selain itu, pemilih berasal dari berbagai negara dan hasilnya dianggap bisa mewakili apa yang paling digemari oleh para penggemar. Minus nya ya itu, kasihan sama grup yang secara performa dan talent bagus, tapi karena jumlah fandomnya terbatas akhirnya kecil kesempatannya untuk menang. Sedihnya lagi kalau ada yang sengaja ngebuat multiple akun dan nge-kick grup lain 😕.

Bangtan Boys atau BTS merupakan boy group Korea yang berada di bawah naungan Big Hit Entertainment. Salah satu boyband papan atas Korea ini merintis popularitasnya secara perlahan dari bawah melalui debut pertamanya pada 13 Juni 2013.
Meskipun dikenal sebagai boyband beraliran hip hop, BTS senang mengangkat isu remaja, jiwa anak muda dan sosial dalam setiap lagunya. Selain merilis beberapa mini album dan full album yang sukses, BTS juga sering mengcover dan membawakan lagu musisi lain dengan style mereka.
Taeyeon adalah penyanyi wanita Korea yang sukses berkali-kali dengan single, mini album, bahkan setiap ost yang dia bawakan pasti akan menjadi hits. Lagu-lagunya seperti 'I', 'Why', 'starlight', 'Rain', atau 'love, that one word' yang jadi ost you're all surrounded rata-rata easy listening. Kadang jadi mikir, duh ini Taeyeon bakatnya emang nggak main-main. Cantik, imut, suaranya ok, sense of music nya bagus, style-nya jadi panutan. Ironi memang kalau lihat do'i punya banyak haters tapi juga dicintai banyak orang.
Album Wings, well I expected so much from Bangtan lewat comeback kali ini, terutama setelah gebrakan apik mereka lewat album-album sebelumnya plus HYYH atau The Most Beautiful Moment in Life series yang sukses besar. Walau begitu, sempat ragu sih berekspektasi lebih. I mean, dilihat dari Wings Short Movie series, udah feeling backsound di setiap movie nya bakal masuk di track list album. Dan yak! itu beneran. Beneran dirilis, dan beneran individual pula!
Recently I have been listening a lot to BTS (Bangtan Boys/Bulletproof Boy Scouts) songs while working on my thesis, and yeah ... their songs' tune not only dope but the lyric is also written beautifully to inspiring everyone who listening to it. I think it is because they produce and write their own music so the meaning is conveyed very well in which it is reflect their story and their thoughts as a youth. I listed 7 BTS songs that I think it keeps me (and hopefully you) to be motivated beyond love or dates.
1. Born Singer
This song is not officially produced by BTS since they just cover the original one from J Cole's 'born sinner'. However, BTS just made it better by change its lyric and the melody a bit to make this song into them. This song is talk about members' behind story, or if I could say their long way to go, to become an idol just like now. With hard work, they're grown up from underrated hip hop band into Bangtan who's gone further even with those who might older than them.

2. Fire
Well, fire become such a big hit from BTS since they've debuted for 3 years. It really goes well as a whole album concept's representative. It sounds young, wild, free, and we cannot ignore the lyric. The perfect combination of up beat music, the dance, and the lyric is ready to set us on fire! If you want something to energizing you, then I recommend you this. Fire motivate you to be YOURSELF, you don't need to think too much about what others think of you, even when they are compare you ... just go on. Your are in progress. That's okay to lose.

Through this song, BTS conveying their suggestion to a millennium generation to keep striving in this harsh world. In other hand, this song is such a social criticism to expose injustice in Korea society especially. According to various references, this song is based on the Korean metaphor:
“뱁새가 황새 걸음을 걸으면 가랑이 가 찢어진다” —
“If a Parrotbill walks like a Stork, it will tear its legs.”
To be honest, I don't really get the meaning. But, it is simply can be interpreted as people (with low social status) who work really hard to compete and achieve succeed but then their hard work doesn't always really work due to competitive job market, rapid economic, or even they are not as lucky as those who was born from higher social status. Some people might think it is fair, it is normal, it is fate(?) (It's society rules) but the lyric says:
"Switch the rules, change changethe storks want to, want to maintainwe can't do thatthis isn't normal" -RM
BTS shows even someone that has been assumed as like 'parrotbill' is able to compete with 'stork' although it is quite hard. That's why the lyric says: "Thanks to the storks, my legs are all swollen" which means you need much more effort to succeed although it will hurt yourself as a consequent.
4. Dope
This song is dope! yet it is so inspirational. Dope shows how a young people spend more his/her time to catch dream while a lot of friends at their age are busy spend time for fun. It is simply tell that if you want to catch your dream, better to work hard now and party later rather than party first and work for the rest of your life. Or you need to struggle from others who try to killing your dream as the lyric says: "Condemning us like stocks, why are they killing us before we can even try? enemy enemy enemy" Okey I love that part by the way. Although I admit some lyrics sounds like teasing "All of you are so weak, such losers, crybabies and idiots" let's assume it just to motivate and not intends to offend. haha.

5. Young Forever
The title says it all. If you're an ARMY at least who followed the series of 'I need You, Prologue, Run, and Epilogue, then you will find out that this song is a sad song. It is super right to touching your heart. The melody, a powerful massage, the way of Bangtan says there is no such a perfect things in this world as well as a life which is not always on top. The spinning wheel might bring us down. What we can do is just try the best.

p.s I love the last part where all members sing together. That feels .....
6. No More Dream
A nice debut song that tickled me to think again 'what is actually my dream?'. Well, some references revealed that this song is about Rapmon's story. He said that before he decided to be a pro rapper, he's a typical diligent student who was part of top 1,3% students and has an IQ 148 (blessed him). At the time, he thought that if he study hard and get good grade it is good for his future. But He did not have any dream!
"I wanna big house, big cars &big rings
But actually, I don't have any big dreams."
That is why Bangtan ask every 'youngsters': 'Hey you, what's your dream?'. Our parents often ask us to be a successful person, have a big house, get a rich husband/wife, or work as a civil servant, then Bangtan asked 'Number one future career is a government worker?'. Beyond it, we should have our own dream. It is not only about money or work in precious company, it is not about others dream, but it is yours.

Well, this song explain more about 'No More Dream' song. I just quoted the lyric and we know what should we do with the rest.

So that's all. When we take a look, Bangtan's songs very represent their personal stories. They are young, with big talents and big dream but then being underrated just because they come from small company so they need to work harder. Their song not merely about love but it share about friendship, dreams, school, society, and every life issue around us. I think that is the reason many people got hooked on them. Further, I very anticipate BTS comeback with WINGS album. Stay motivated, fellas!
